:-)

Hello (not so) Cruel World,

Yes, I've technically been neglecting my blog again. And yes, I'm going to rely on all of the usual reasons: Christmas madness, kid out of school, flu, more flu, new puppy has destroyed everything in the entire house and I've been busy vacuuming up the mess, Pandora (can't stop listening), and unseasonable warm weather (which makes me devote mental energies toward being jealous of those who live on the east coast and who are not having seasonally warm weather).

But the best reason of all I have for neglecting my blog is this one:

Yes, that is a picture of cupcakes. Cupcakes which my amazing agent Faye Bender sent me. There were actually more, but some of them didn't last long enough to get their pictures taken.

So, if you are wondering why my agent sent me cupcakes, it's because 1) she's awesome 2) she totally gets me, and 3) she sold my book.

And in case that link doesn't work, I'll just paste the relevant information here.
